Week 11

I planned this week to do 3 runs, but because of the weather I did only 2. I am happy to tell you that both of runs were PR for me: an 18 km long run and an under 30 min 5 K.

I took my nephew with his bike for the long run. I had a route already in my mind, but I had to adapt because they took down a bridge over a creek in the woods and we encounter a lots of dogs with a leash. In the end was a nice day, with great weather for running.

I wanted to have 2 days of rest after the long run, but I had to help my mother around the house with fire woods, which took me around 6 hours of hard work, so I postpone the run to the next day.

With the weather getting a little warmer I tried and managed to run under 30 minutes a 5 km. It was a great feeling seeing on my watch my 5:09 my best pace. Wow! I did my goal! I run 5K less than 30 min and I am very happy.

The rest of the days are just walks and rest. Sunday I wanted to do the 3rd run of the week, but the weather and one of my knees feeling a little funny made me postpone it. Too bad! It is Monday and is raining a lot!
